This new trio of barbering tools really gives you that “wow” factor when you unbox them, they are some of the sexiest tools I’ve seen in a long time. It’s not just me that thinks they look amazing. Personally, I love it when my clients take notice of the tools I use. When they mention how impressive my tools look, it really goes to show that Wahl have outdone themselves. The Gold Cordless Magic Clip and Cordless Detailer sit tidily in their charging stands standing tall and looking proud and professional, reflecting the lights in the shop like a powerful father and son.
The Vanish’s design and combination of matte and shiny finishes is so on trend. And they aren’t just aesthetically pleasing, they’re so practical. Wahl does this thing where they make unique ergonomic designs that make tools fit so comfortably in your hand; the Vanish has raised grips at the back which gives you full control. There’s no chance of dropping this bad boy! I also love that the fuel gauge flashes to show you how much charge you have. Overall, you can tell that this is a superb piece of machinery.
Looks aren’t everything, but when it comes to these three tools, judging a book by its cover is entirely appropriate. For me, the performance of a tool is more important than how it looks. What it does to help me to provide a better service, be more efficient and to create better looks is paramount. Luckily that’s exactly what these tools have succeeded at.
The Gold Detailer cuts closer than ever. Its upgraded DLC blade stays cool through every cut, it’s corrosion resistant and stays sharper four times longer than the original blade which is all just music to my ears. The results from using the trimmer have been on a whole new level, increasing efficiency by making the whole cutting process simpler and easier.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the original Magic Clip and wouldn’t have thought it could have been improved… I thought wrong. What’s been making life so much easier has been the new and improved attributes like the DLC blade, the cordless charging stand that saves so much workspace and the more powerful rotary motor. There’s a very therapeutic feel to using them and they comfortably cut through all hair types and thicknesses.
The new elegant Vanish not only looks great but it is so well designed. Balding a skin surface has never been so quick! I had to slow everything down because they were working too well, which is never a bad thing, but it just took some slight pressure adjustments. I no longer have to push hard or fast – the slower, softer and more accurately I use the Vanish, the smoother the finish is.
What I love best about these new tools is that they’re not designed for one hair type or cutting ability… any experience or any field of the hair industry would benefit massively from using them in the right way. For barbers and hairdressers alike, they each possess strength, accuracy and durability and will become essential pieces of kit for anyone who cuts hair.
