AW collection from Angelo Seminara; three biggest blow-dry trends

Here are the three biggest blow-dry trends for the coming season from four-time British Hairdresser of the Year winner and Goldwell Global Ambassador Angelo Seminara – VOLUME, TEXTURE and SHINE. These gorgeous styles have been created to showcase the perfect finish that will optimise the style.

Model Faith channels VOLUME

Angelo worked Goldwell Stylesign Ultra Volume Naturally Full through the hair with a vent brush when wet, working from roots to ends. He then blow-dried the head with the vent brush creating root lift for substantial volume. Then Angelo used medium tongs to add extra volume between roots and ends, then he finished with Goldwell Creative Texture Dry Boost.

Model Liva channels TEXTURE

After shampooing and conditioning the hair, applied Goldwell Stylesign Soft Waver and started diffusing the hair until dry. Small sections were then wound around small to medium-sized hot tongs and Angelo randomly started accentuating the natural texture and adding even more texture. The idea is to really pack in movement into natural looking texture. Angelo finished off this look with Goldwell Stylesign Creative Texture Roughman for extra definition.

Model Oli channels SHINE

This look can be achieved in different ways. The most important thing is to analyse the haircut before you start. If it’s one length you should use smaller rollers to allow a little more body in the hair. If it’s long layers, you should use slightly bigger rollers and if it’s short layers, you should use big rollers. Angelo applied Goldwell Stylesign Flat Marvel on damp hair then blow dried with a round brush. He used large tongs taking medium sized sections allowing the heat to penetrate the hair before rolling the section on a roller and locking wth a clip. Repeat all over in a brickwork pattern. Cool and release hair before gently brushing through and finishing with Goldwell Stylesign Magic Finish.
