The Waxing Process
Consultation
Your client’s journey begins with a thorough consultation to understand their skin type, hair texture, and any specific concerns they might have. This allows you to customise their treatment for optimal results.
Preparation
Before waxing, we cleanse and prep the skin with our Refreshing Skin Cleanser. This step ensures the skin is clean and primed for waxing, reducing the risk of irritation and removing any traces of cream, deodorant or perspiration from the skin.
Application
Ashmira Botanica’s superior waxes are designed to adhere to the hair and not the skin. This minimises discomfort and ensures a smooth, efficient removal. We offer a choice of Mulberry ‘hot’ wax or Wild Violet Strip Wax, both which work at low temperatures, are vegan and super easy to work with. Our Mulberry Wax dries instantly ensuring very fast, optimal results.
Aftercare
Post-wax, firstly we apply our calming Nourishing Oil to soothe the skin and prevent any redness or irritation. This is followed by either our Replenishing Body Lotion which calms the skin, reduces redness and helps to prevent ingrown hairs; or our Comfort Balm – a thick, creamy balm which has been designed to use like a mask, instantly taking down redness on sensitive areas.
