Relax & Rejuvenate

A spa is a place of resting and refreshing – but owning one hasn’t been all smooth sailing. You’ve dedicated hours of your time creating a space where your clients can take five and unwind from the strains of daily life, and it’s taken all your energy to make it into the success it’s become.

Unfortunately, accidents can happen at any time. All it takes is for a client to have an adverse reaction to a product or treatment for your dreams to end abruptly. And when you face a compensation claim that you can’t afford, you wonder how you’ll ever make it out the other side.

At Salon Gold, we understand that sometimes life can just throw a curveball your way, and when that happens, you want to know your business is protected. We offer treatment liability cover as standard in our policy, so you enjoy the peace of mind and relaxation that your clients do.

Don’t tempt fate. Call us and buy your Spa insurance policy with Salon Gold today!

Spa Salon Insurance FAQs

Do spas need insurance?

All spas need insurance to protect fixtures, fittings, contents, stock and equipment in the event of loss or damage caused by fire, theft, flood or accidental damage.

Employers liability is a compulsory insurance for any spa employing staff and will protect you if a member of staff was injured at work.

Public liability and treatment risk insurance is essential to provide cover against a member of the public suffering an injury at the premises or being injured in the course of a treatment.

Without insurance, the spa owner would be responsible for funding any claims for compensation and the costs could be huge.

How much does spa insurance cost?

Spa insurance premiums can vary enormously from around £250 for the smallest spa to thousands of pounds for large spas with lots of treatment rooms and relaxation facilities. The premium for your particular spa will depend on a variety of factors including the covers you require, the treatments you undertake, your location, your experience in the trade and your claims history.
