The new collection by one of London’s most in-demand hair stylists, Larry King, has been branded as an assortment of “everyday hair heroes” since its launch in November.

Each of the three styling aids has an apothecary-inspired aesthetic and boasts a signature scent, creating the ambience of Larry King’s salon itself.

The super-lightweight “Volumising Hair Mist” leaves locks feeling soft, yet product-free. It adds body and increases volume by lifting the roots. It can be used on wet or damp hair before blow-drying, or on dry hair as an all-day refresher. Its “Cabin fever” fragrance includes elements of cooling eucalyptus, rosemary and pine needles.

“A social life for your hair” is a super-charged satin finishing cream that works with every hair type. It aims to tame curls and fly-aways, whilst adding definition, texture and shine. Notes of bergamot and lavandin give it its “Cloud watching” scent of cut grass and green moss.

“Velvet Texture Clay” is the ultimate remedy for adding second-day body to unruly hair. The non-greasy, matte formula gives hair a grungy texture without creating build-up. Larry recommends mixing this product with “A social life for your hair” for added shine. Its “Autumn fog” aroma embodies the warming embers of a log fire blended with subtle wisps of smoke and cedarwood.

The haircare line boasts some environmentally-conscious credentials. The chic, recyclable and sustainable packaging that each product is clothed in is plastic-free. It consists of glass, aluminium and FSC certified card which has been engineered to contain wild flower seeds. This means that if it does end up in the ground, it will sprout blooms upon finding soil.

Larry King commented: “I wanted to create a hero hair range. A range of multi-tasking products that really work, whilst smelling great, looking great and wherever possible not filling up our beautiful planet with even more plastic.”

Larry King’s clients include Gigi Hadid, Pixie Lott and Zayn Malik. As well as releasing this product range, he has recently become one of Glamour magazine’s new columnists.
