Jo Robertson, Ex Global Head of Education at GHD, has launched The Jo Robertson Hair Agency, a new subscription-based service aimed at hair stylists looking to develop their careers, whilst helping salon owners focus on establishing a brand.
The four one-day courses currently available via the new platform are: “Brand Me”, “Don’t let social media be your end game”, “Education 101” and “Shoot for success”.
Boasting an extensive and diverse career, Jo covers all aspects of the hairdressing industry, having worked on TV, within Art teams and partnered with major brands. She has also owned and run her own salon, providing true authenticity behind the Hair Agency concept.
Jo Robertson confirmed: “I have noticed a shift in the hair industry – salons are looking for technique driven education. There are so many super talented stylists out there that offer fantastic education but nowhere to showcase their talent.
I set up The Jo Robertson Hair Agency to change the availability of education and to create a brand-neutral space where artists could showcase their work and offer services to salons.”
The Jo Robertson Hair Agency allows freelance educators to share their skills and services online, reaching many salons and stylists that they may not have had access to previously.
The digital hub includes all new coaching and development programmes, seminars and Jo’s established blog.
