2019 is finally upon us! However, December was our favourite month of the year for many different reasons.
For the salon industry, it was particularly exciting due to all the new hair and beauty products that were released just in time for Christmas, with the following 5 definitely worth a try:
Kryolan – Ultra Fluid Foundation (Medium Olive)
Berlin-based professional make-up brand, Kryolan, has launched new shades of its Ultra Fluid Foundation, adding to its extensive range of over 16,000 high-quality products and accessories, which include the use of 750 highly pigmented and colour-intense shades.
This particular foundation is great for make-up artists, offering a slightly enhanced covering quality compared to other liquid foundations, without losing its transparent appearance.
Bodyography – Glitter Pigments (Sparkler)
Bodyography has launched a new Glitter Pigments eyeshadow, offering a long-wearing, high-shine and pearlescent finish. They feature a one-of-a-kind technology which results in the saturation of a loose pigment, the softness of a cream and the silkiness of a powder.
The unique gel texture means it can be applied wet or dry with no mess, enabling make-up artists to apply a glitter overlay on top of the eyeshadow.
Sienna X – 1-hour self-tan tinted mist
Do your clients ever ask your advice on self-tan that produces quick and effective results? This tinted mist by Sienna X allows your clients to tailor their tan for any occasion, and in line with their natural skin tone. It can be left on for up to four hours for a deeper glow, and is also perfect for easily topping up areas such as the hands, feet and face.
Infused with aloe vera and vitamin E, both known for their antioxidant and moisturising properties, it leaves skin feeling soft and flawless with an added natural glow. The 360 nozzle caters for an easy application and those hard-to-reach areas.
Face Secrets – F1 double-ended powder brush
This “Instagram worthy” high-performance brush with extremely soft synthetic hair and ergonomic handle delivers airbrushed results. It’s a double-duty brush that gets a lot done. Make-up artists can use the large end to apply powder foundation, setting powders, finishing powders and to blend the face to finish. The smaller end can be used to set under the eyes, contour and highlight. On top of that, it’s completely vegan and cruelty-free.
PMD Clean – Facial cleansing device
PMD Clean is a smart facial cleansing device that removes impurities from the pores, as well as providing a lift, firm and tone effect with its 7,000 vibrations per minute. Why not use it to offer your clients an anti-ageing facial massage, using the SonicGlow technology to massage serums and moisturiser into the skin?
The device is odour-resistant, antibacterial, hypoallergenic, waterproof and boasts ultra-hygienic soft silicone bristles on a hassle-free brush head that never needs replacing. The PMD Clean has four customisable modes for a full spectrum of cleansing options for all skin types.
