October has been an exciting month for the hair and beauty industry, with multiple product launches and additions to existing ranges across go-to salon brands.

Here at Salon Gold, we’ve kept our ears to the ground and have selected five of our favourites that we’re sure will be a hit in salons across the country:

1. iQ

Haircare brand, iQ, have launched three new gift sets just in time for Christmas, complete with modern and sleek festive packaging. iQ is a high-quality range of wet-line and styling solutions, offering products that are strictly sulphate and paraben-free.

The “It’s all about you” set includes a daily shampoo (300ml), a daily conditioner (300ml) and a hair serum (75ml). Its new “Pump up the volume” set consists of a volume shampoo (300ml), volume conditioner (300ml) and a root boost (250ml). “The name’s blonde” is the smallest in the range and includes a silverising shampoo (300ml) and silverising mask (250ml).

2. The Manicure Company

This supplier of gel polishes, base and top coats, collection packs, treatments and tools has launched its “Wrapped in Riches” collection, a six-pack of 8ml gel polishes in colours ranging from silky chocolate browns to diamond-like glitters.

The collection aims to indulge the winter season and includes the shades “Lavish Living”, “Truffle”, “Penthouse Suite”, “Faux Fur”, “Bejewelled” and “Vintage Pearls”. The set is priced at £47.94.

3. ECOHEADS

ECOHEADS has released an environmentally friendly shower head made from recycled plastic. Its unique design combines a powerful water stream with a patented shower-plate to double water pressure, giving clients an added massage during their shampoo.

The shower head’s unique filtration system helps to reduce chlorine levels and ionises the water, softening and smoothing the hair as a result.

By doubling the water pressure, you can pull back on your water usage and save on utility bills. Numerous salons have reported halving their rinse time with this shower head.

The shower-head is priced at £119.94.

4. Royal & Langnickel

The beauty brand has created the Master Pro Travel Kit, a selection of 12 brushes designed for makeup artists who need to create a variety of looks on-the-go.

The high-quality handcrafted brushes feature the stand-out blue ferrule, natural and synthetic brush bristles and come in a handy carry case with zip.

The travel kit consists of the below brush types:

Royal and Langnickel

5. NXT

The self-proclaimed “next generation of permanent hair colour” brand has added four candles to its ever-expanding product range. With its current range consisting of mostly colours, developers and bleaches, these are the first of their type to be introduced.

The four fragrances are named “Rhubarb & Raspberry”, “Clean Slate”, “Mulled Wine” and “Gingerbread Man”.

Each candle is priced at £6.00 and is the perfect seasonal addition to any salon.
