The Type Indicator® instrument is a questionnaire based on the Myers Briggs model of personality. This identifies an individual’s preferences, which are analogous to handedness. You have two hands. You use them both. But most people are either “right handed” or “left handed”. That is, they have a natural inclination to use one hand or the other. In the same way we each have “natural” tendencies with our preferences.

As a profession, Myers Briggs is relatively low risk but you do need to protect yourself and your business. In today’s world, people are increasingly ready to take legal proceedings for compensation and the incidence of claims against therapists is on the increase. The unexpected can and sometimes does happen and the price of our liability insurance cover is a tiny fraction of the likely cost of a claim.
