Microblading Insurance

Easy as 1, 2, 3 – Microblading insurance quickly, with instant cover

Comprehensive microblading insurance at a price you can afford

The latest beauty trend to take the world by storm, microblading is now considered a basic treatment that all beauticians should be offering their clients. Using micropigmentation techniques to deliver colour and definition, technicians use scalpel-like tools with a series of microneedles to brush pigment into the skin, creating the illusion of fuller and thicker eyebrows. This technique is ideal for those with sparser brows. or for anyone who may not have any eyebrow hair. The results last for up to three years, depending on your skin type and the pigment used.

Microblading involves the use of sharp tools and has semi-permanent results for your clients, with the process causing micro wounds that will need to heal properly over time. Not properly sterilising your equipment, using or reusing scalpels, using the wrong pigment, not conducting a patch test, or even failing to offer the right aftercare could lead to your clients filing a claim against you. This may leave you buried under expensive legal fees and high compensation costs, which could destroy your business, and leave you unable to continue working.

Here at Salon Gold, we want to protect your business with our insurance policies, leaving you safe in the knowledge that you will be completely covered if an accident does unfortunately happen, letting you focus on your what’s most important: your customers.

Microblading Insurance FAQs

Can microblading be done on a mobile basis?

If you’re a mobile beauty therapist, you can offer your clients microblading as a treatment, providing you’ve completed the right training. Because it involves the use of a hand tool, it’s possible to offer it as a mobile service.

What insurance do I need for microblading?

For microblading, you need at least public liability, products liability, financial loss, and treatment risk cover. Public liability insurance is the most important type of insurance overall, as it covers you if a compensation claim is made against you and your business regarding injury or damage to a client or their property. These kinds of claims can be very expensive to settle, and may leave you out of pocket if you don’t have the right insurance policy in place. Products liability insurance covers you in the event a claim is made against the products you use or supply to your clients. Meanwhile, treatment risk cover protects you against any problems that may arise as a direct result of your microblading treatment. These are all offered as standard with our mobile beauty insurance policies.

How much is microblading insurance?

At Salon Gold, we offer microblading insurance as part of our beauty insurance policies. The overall cost of your insurance policy is also determined by any extra cover you may want to include in your policy, as well as your experience in the industry and whether you’ve taken out a claim in the past.
