With Pantone choosing Classic Blue as the colour for 2020, Salon System nail expert Julie Anne has created a Pantone Blue inspired step by step using GELLUX.
Step 1
Prepare the nails and wipe over with the GELLUX Prep + Wipe (£7.10+VAT). Apply GELLUX Fast Bond (£5.85+VAT) and let dry for 30 seconds. Then, apply the GELLUX Cover Pink Base (£11.95+VAT), and cure for 30 sec.

Step 2
On a piece of foil add 4 equal sized drops (about 5p size) of GELLUX Secret Service (£11.95+VAT). Then, add a few drops of GELLUX Purely White (£11.95+VAT) to each GELLUX Secret Service drop. Start with one drop on the first and then add an extra drop as you go along, until the last drop of GELLUX Secret Service has 4 drops of GELLUX Purely White. Mix each colour to create 4 different shades of blue.

Step 3
Apply GELLUX Secret Service to the index and middle fingers. Then, using a clean gel brush, paint the ring and little fingers using the 2 lightest shades of blue you have just mixed. Cure for 30 seconds. Then, repeat the process for the second coat.

Step 4
Dip a fine liner brush in the darkest shade of blue previously created and create a triangle at the top of the index and middle fingers. Cure for 30 seconds.

Step 5
Repeat the previous step using the other shades of blue, leaving a gap in between each triangle. Be sure to cure after every application. Apply GELLUX Shiny Top Coat (£11.95+VAT), and cure for 60 seconds. Wipe nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe and apply GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil (£4.35+VAT).
