Industry professionals put the pedal to the metal recently in aid of the Hair & Beauty Charity, raising an amazing £9,638.55 towards helping hair and beauty professionals in need.
This year, the annual charity bike race took place in Girona, Spain, which holds the largest concentration of professional cyclists in the world. The trip’s cycling schedule catered to all levels of cycling expertise as expert bike guides accompanied groups of fundraisers on either gentle routes, or full-on adventure trails into the foothills and beyond.
The bike ride was, once again organized by the superb Victor Pajak from Headquarters. It was a fantastic feat for all who took part, but a special mention to the top three fundraisers, Stacey Humphries from L’Oreal Professionnel, who raised £1,779.17, Anne Veck who raised £1,519, and Jason Miller from Charlie Miller salon, who raised £1,080.
“Thank you so much to all the people who joined us this year and everyone who supported them in raising such a terrific amount of money for our industry charity. Victor was just amazing for pulling it all together, and being such a fantastic host.” Phillip Sharp, Co-President of Hair & Beauty Charity.
