Autumn Nail Palettes!
With the recent bought of rain and fog, it’s clear that summer is well and truly over. The good news? Autumn is here, and with it comes a host of new seasonal colour palettes, from make-up and hair trends through to nail designs. For the latter, there’s a clear move away from summer pastels and pinks, as we start to embrace the new season fashion trends, making way for darker and richer colours that compliment a host of occasions, including a pumpkin-spiced latte in hand!
1. Dark Teal:
Not an obvious colour choice, but teal has well and truly made a comeback this Autumn. Using a darker tone falls in line with the seasonal shift whether applied with a velvet or gloss product. For added pizazz, incorporate lighter colours with designs or a touch of glitter.

2. Deep Purple:
Deep purples are often a popular choice for autumn. The best part? They can see you through to the more festive season if you get too attached! The colour seeps warmth and compliments both evening and day attire. For clients looking for a nail colour to successfully bridge between summer and autumn, why not try an alluring plum?
3. Animal Print:
Animal prints are dominating both the runway and the high street this Autumn/Winter 2018/19 season. Incorporate this trend into your nail designs, with the use of warm browns, combining different tones to create popular leopard prints. Mix and match with vibrant colours, such as reds or greens, for a more innovative and stand-out style.
4. Pumpkin Orange:
Within a matter of weeks, the landscape will be a scene of orange and red, as the leaves transform from their summer state. Maybe an obvious choice for some this Autumn, but a deep pumpkin orange is not only fitting for the season, but can also combine with more detailed designs for maximum effect. Nail technicians can also add detailed designs, such as leaves or pumpkins for clients who truly want to embrace the new season.
5. Brilliant Burgundy:
For nails with sass, why not try out a brilliant burgundy? The colour is extremely fitting for autumn, whilst ensuring your customers will walk away oozing with confidence. This one is a top favourite at Salon Gold HQ and we guarantee will work with any outfit, day or night. As we edge closer to December, combine with glitters or golds for that festive feel.
