How Much Does Massage Liability Insurance Cost?

It Shouldn’t Happen to a Massage Therapist!
But from time to time, unforeseen problems do happen – sometimes things that are outside your control -and your massage liability insurance can be a low-cost safety net. For instance, your client could make a claim against you if you were responsible for a slip, trip or fall in the premises in which you were treating them. Or a client may claim that your massage treatment makes an injury worse and accuse you of lack of skill or incompetence, even if you are completely blameless. A client may suffer an injury that they don’t think is worth mentioning to you, for example whiplash caused by a minor car accident. This may naturally and inevitably worsen over the next few days but the client may unjustly blame you for the resulting progression of the condition. Or a client may claim that they broke out in a rash after you used an oil or cream during their massage. In all these cases, our Salon Gold liability policy, ideally suited to massage therapists, could protect you.
